YORK SCORES MARY PICKFORD AWARD
British actor MICHAEL YORK is to be honoured with the 2009 Mary Pickford Award at December's (09) Satellite Awards in Los Angeles.
The prize is handed out to movie stars and directors by the International Press Academy.
The 14th annual Satellite Awards will take place on 20 December (09).
Ironically, York recently narrated Mary Pickford documentary The Muse of The Movies.
