YES CANCEL U.S. TOUR
British rockers YES have scrapped their current tour of America - citing "unforeseen medical reasons" for the cancelled shows.
The veteran band was due to play a string of gigs throughout North America but now all of their concerts from 9 February (09) have been halted.
Bassist Chris Squire was reportedly admitted to hospital on Monday (09Feb09) with an unspecified medical emergency which required surgery on his leg.
The band has refused to give any more details about the reason behind the cancellations, releasing the following statement: "Due to unforeseen medical reasons, the In The Present Tour, featuring Yes' Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Alan White is cancelling shows through February 24 (San Diego)."
Last year (08) the rockers were forced to postpone their first tour in 15 years after frontman Jon Anderson suffered a severe asthma attack and was subsequently diagnosed with respiratory failure.
