MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA star MICHELLE YEOH was such a devote dancer growing up, she was disgusted when people suggested she become an actress. The Malaysian beauty, 44, began ballet dancing at the age of four and went on to study it at the Royal Academy in London as a teenager. When people picked up on her potential acting skills, Yeoh was stunned. However, she finally turned to acting when she was 22. She says, "When I was studying in England I did dance and I minored in drama, and I absolutely hated it. "If someone said to me, 'You are going to be an actress,' I would have laughed myself to death."
