XSCAPE MEMBERS COTTLE AND BURRUSS RECORD DUET
Incarcerated rapper T.I.'s fiancee TAMEKA 'TINY' COTTLE has reunited with her former XSCAPE bandmate KANDI BURRUSS to record a new song.
The R&B singers have not been in the studio together since co-writing TLC's hit song No Scrubs in 1999, a year after Burruss left Xscape to pursue a solo career.
The pair has remained friends ever since and Burruss, who is back in the spotlight as the star of U.S. reality TV show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has now turned to her pal to help relaunch herself as an artist.
Burruss tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I got Tiny (on the album)... We have this song called Superwoman that we wrote a while back. We just revamped it a little bit. It's talking about single mums that are doing their thing for their children."
Burruss has a six-year-old daughter, Riley, with ex-boyfriend Russell 'Block' Spencer, while Cottle is a mother of three - she has two sons with T.I. and a little girl from a previous relationship.
T.I. is currently behind bars in Arkansas, serving a 366-day sentence for illegal weapons possession.
