WYLE PUSHES FOR U.S. HEALTH REFORM

TV doctor NOAH WYLE is calling on U.S. President BARACK OBAMA to introduce universal healthcare in America - and he's offering to help.
The E.R. star recently returned to the longrunning medical drama as his character Dr. John Carter to shoot scenes for the show finale, which airs in the U.S. on Thursday night (02Apr09).
Wyle has no other projects in the pipeline and plans to spend some time pushing for a health service for all, similar to those in the U.K. and Canada.
The actor says, "I'm holding out hope, that we're going off the air just as this administration is going to usher in some kind of universal healthcare coverage. So we can start valuing health as a human right and not a privilege.
"Hopefully I can segue from my previous job into assisting with it."
