WINSTONE BACK IN THE WEST HAM FOLD

British star RAY WINSTONE has been welcomed back into the fold of long suffering English soccer team West Ham United after the club made a welcome return to the Premiership last year (05). When the team were relegated from the top division in 2003, the SEXY BEAST actor tore up his season ticket in protest at what he perceived as poor management of the club's business affairs. He declared at the time, "I'm not going to give the directors my money. I'll spend money on anything but I won't give it to them." But West Ham's luck has changed with their re-entry to the sport's top flight in England in 2005, and so have the star's feelings toward the bosses of the London team. The tough-guy actor says, "I've bought a box there, so all the family can go and watch. I had a chat to the board, and they were willing to accept they made some mistakes. That was good enough for me."
