Billionaire TV titan Oprah Winfrey wants to keep it real when she heads Down Under in December (10) - she's considering staying at her Aussie fans' houses.
The media mogul is heading to Australia to film several episodes of the last season of her Oprah show, and she's taking 300 of her most loyal viewers with her.
And despite being handed a staggering $2.7 million (£1.8 million) from the New South Wales government to entice her to film her show in the Australian state, Winfrey's eager to stay over at the homes of some of her antipodean fans.
She says, "I will have to say some wonderful Australian viewers have come to my show over the years and every time anybody from Australia comes, they always stand up in the audience and say 'You must now come, you must come.'
"Now I'm going to go look for all those cards I've been saving over the years, from folks who have come from Australia. So I don't know where I'm going to be staying.
"The idea of staying at a real Aussie's house is actually pretty appealing to me. So I don't know who that would be, but I'm not ruling that out."
