WINEHOUSE'S CLINIC PROTEST FOR BLAKE
British singer AMY WINEHOUSE will stay in hospital until her husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL is release from jail.
The Back To Black hitmaker was hospitalised after collapsing at her London home earlier this month (16Jun08). She was subsequently diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema.
She left the clinic this weekend to perform at a London tribute concert to Nelson Mandela on Friday (27Jun08) and annual music festival Glastonbury on Saturday night (28Jun08).
But Winehouse returned to the hospital on Sunday (29Jun08) - and is now refusing to leave until her incarcerated husband is freed.
Fielder-Civil is on remand awaiting sentencing for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice following an attack on a pub landlord.
Her mother, Janis, says, "She likes it (at the clinic) and feels more secure. She doesn't have any worries while she is in there."
Meanwhile, the star provoked outrage at Mandela's 90th birthday concert after changing the words of Free Nelson Mandela, the show's finale song, to "Free Blakey, my fella".
Mandela served 27 years in prison for fighting against the racist South African regime.
