WINEHOUSE WALKS OUT ON BOOING FANS

Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE has angered fans by walking out of a gig midway through her set. The Back To Black star surprised the crowd at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday (24Nov07) night by appearing onstage with smeared make-up and a cigarette hanging from her lips. Winehouse disappeared several times throughout the incoherent performance, before storming off-stage when the audience began to boo and heckle the singer halfway through her set. It's not the first time Winehouse has enraged fans on her U.K tour - the opening night (14Nov07) in Birmingham, England, saw fans walk out of the show and demand a refund for the poor performance. She was also heavily criticised for dropping her microphone and walking off midway through the closing number. The tour concludes in London on 17 December (07).
