WINEHOUSE LANDS THREE IVOR NOVELLO NOMINATIONS

Soul star AMY WINEHOUSE is leading the nominations for the 2008 Ivor Novello Awards - she's received three nods for prizes including Best Song.
The British singer has won praise for her tracks Love Is A Losing Game and You Know I'm No Good, which are both contenders in the Best Song category at the songwriting awards ceremony.
Her hit single Rehab has also been given renewed recognition in the Best Selling British Song category, after being named Best Contemporary Song at last year's (07) event.
Winehouse's Rehab will compete against R+B superstar Beyonce Knowles' Beautiful Liar, a duet with Shakira, as well as pop star Mika's 2007 release, Grace Kelly.
Meanwhile, Radiohead's In Rainbows is nominated for Best Album, along with British rockers Cherry Ghost's Thirst For Romance and English singer/songwriter Stephen Fretwell's LP Man On The Roof.
British newcomer Kate Nash has landed a nod for Best Contemporary Song for Foundations, going up against rockers Klaxons' Golden Skans and Cherry Ghost's People Help The People.
Best Original Film Score will be a close-fought affair between Atonement, Becoming Jane and La Vie En Rose.
This year's (08) Ivor Novello Awards, honouring the best British music publishers, songwriters and composers, will be held in London on 22 May (08).
