WINEHOUSE ENTERS BEST-SELLING ALBUMS OF 21ST CENTURY

Amy Winehouse's Back to Black album has moved into the Top 10 list of best-selling UK albums of the 21st century.

Since it was released in October 2006 the album has sold 2,467,575 copies, with 318,350 of those being sold in the last ten weeks alone.

Winehouse has moved into the Top 10 at the expense of Norah Jones' 2002 album Come Away With Me which has sold 2,432,712 copies.

The number one UK album so far this century is James Blunt's Back to Bedlam which has sold 3,120,833 since its release in 2004.

Dido's debut album No Angel is the second best selling album, having reached 3,023,288 sales since 2000.

David Gray's White Ladder released in the same year sits third in the list having sold 2,888,025 copies, with 4,593 being sold so far this year.

Life For Rent, Dido's second entry in the Top 10, charts at fourth in list, having shifted 2,823,569 albums since being released in 2003.

A collection of the Beatles number one singles, 1, makes up the top 5 after selling 2,775,654 copies.

The Scissor Sisters' self-titled debut album, Coldplay's A Rush Of Blood To The Head, Keane's Hope and Fears and Coldplay's third album X&Y made up the Top 10 ahead of Winehouse's Back to Black.
