WINEHOUSE ALBUM DELAYED UNTIL 2009?
Songstress AMY WINEHOUSE may not release a new album until 2009.
The singer, whose first two albums FRANK and BACK TO BLACK have both been chart-toppers, has reportedly cancelled recording sessions in the Bahamas with producer Saleem Remi.
The Mirror reports that Amy pulled the plug on the sessions shortly before she was due to fly out.
It quotes an unnamed source as saying: "The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it's unlikely to happen until 2009."
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has been axed from a prestigious charity event in the US.
Amy was scheduled to perform at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala on May 5th, but has been told by organisers that she is no longer part of the programme.
Showbizspy.com quotes a source as saying: "She was really looking forward to going to America. She loves New York and has some close friends there."
