WILSON WANTS COLLEGE DEGREE

Actor OWEN WILSON is calling on scholars at the college he quit to follow his acting dreams to search deep in their hearts and give him an honorary degree. The WEDDING CRASHERS star dropped out of the University of Texas at Austin just a year shy of graduating and now he thinks he's done enough to be given the degree he never received. He says, "What would be great is if I could figure out a way for them to give me an honorary degree - or if I could get credit for a movie or something." Wilson admits his language studies proved too much for him, and that was the main reason he dropped out. He adds, "The foreign language requirement was hard for me. I lived in Rome for five months and I could not pick up the language."
