WILSON SISTERS, WYCLEF AND SANTIGOLD TO BE HONOURED BY ASCAP

HEART sisters ANN AND NANCY WILSON, WYCLEF JEAN and newcomer SANTIGOLD are to be honoured at the 26th annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' Founders Award will be given to the Wilsons, while former Fugees star Wyclef will be the recipient of the Creative Voice Award.
Santigold will receive ASCAP's Vanguard Award.
The songwriters and publishers of the most performed pop songs of 2008 will also be honoured at the invitation-only event, set for 22 April (09) at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.
Wyclef Jean and Ann & Nancy Wilson will perform at the awards ceremony.
