WILLIAMS LAUNCHES SWING SHOW IN LAS VEGAS

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has made good on his recent promise to leave Britain for a while - he is reportedly launching a live swing show in Las Vegas this year (AUG07). Williams' spectacular showcase gig will be based on his best selling covers album SWING WHEN YOU'RE WINNING - according to British newspaper The Sun. After the ANGEL singer's recent experimental album RUDEBOX was a critical and commercial failure in his native country, he vowed late last year (06) to take some time off. He said, "I've enjoyed tremendous success for over ten years now - far more than I should have or I ever would have dreamed I'd have. And now it's the time for Robbie to go away in people's minds. I think it's time to not be in Britain for a bit.
