WILLIAMS' GUN CHARGES DROPPED

Comedian KATT WILLIAMS has escaped prosecution following his arrest last year (08) on suspicion of gun possession - the New York District Attorney has rejected the charges.
The funnyman was taken into custody by the New York Police Department in November after cops pulled his car over for a traffic violation.
They allegedly spotted two firearms in the vehicle and Williams was hit with two weapons possessions charges.
But according to TMZ.com, the controversial star's counts have been dropped after officials at the District Attorney's office decided they would be unable to prove the claims beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
