WILLIAMS: 'CELEBRITIES SHOULD BE GRATEFUL'

Hip-hop star PHARRELL WILLIAMS has hit out at celebrities who feel sorry for themselves, insisting they should be grateful for their wealth and success. The 33-year-old - one half of production duo THE NEPTUNES - believes his fellow stars should learn to appreciate how lucky they are to be in the entertainment business and stop being so self-obsessed. He says, "I don't want to be that guy, 'Oh, I'm super rich but I f**king hate life.' That's not me. I'm so f**king happy that I can wake up and do this every day. "I like my music to speak for me. I hate talking about myself. Self-glorification is a big turn-off - listening to somebody talking about themselves all damn day long."
