Rapper WILL.I.AM thought he was the victim of a prank when he got a call from a man claiming to be MICHAEL JACKSON - so the BLACK EYED PEAS star hung up on him.
The My Humps hitmaker - real name William Adams - was so dubious of the authenticity of the phone call, he mocked the Thriller singer and demanded to know the real identity of the caller, before cutting him off.
He says, "(Jackson) called me out of the blue. I'm like: 'How did you get my number?' Pretty MI5. He was like, 'What's up? It's Michael.' And I was like: 'Stop playing around dude. Who is this?' He's like: 'It's Michael, seriously. No one ever believes me.' I'm like: 'Stop playing. I'm hanging up the phone.' Click!"
And the 32-year-old believes anyone else in his position would act in the same way if Jackson ever called them.
He adds, "If someone rings you up and says it's Michael, you ain't gonna believe them because it's easy to imitate his voice."

in my glove box-from yr jackson 5 to yr jacksons to your current solo michael
jackson labels, my room, i pod, toilet, wen im sleeping i leve it on, wen im at
uni i got 1 ear with my i pod plugd in, right now every day and if there ever
is a time wen i dont im eitha singing ur music or thinking of ur music and u.

I can't believe that he actually hung up on Michael Jackson!! I mean I
understand, that he says that anybody could imitate him - but I'm sure that
nobody would have been as nice as MJ like that on phone!! MJ is the kindest
person on the eath .. And I don't believe that anybody could imitate that well!
MJ I love u 4-ever .. if u ever read this, wich u problably won't .. however I
would wish I could meet u one day!! I love u more than anybody and I always
have! Anyway I like Williams music and I think it's cool he's working with u!!
But I love u more than I've ever loved anybody my intire life! Can't wait 4 ur
new album to be realesed!!
