Actor WILL SMITH has been taking advice from TOM CRUISE - and the MEN IN BLACK star was keen to share the important life tips with his new friends, DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM. Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett joined the Mission: Impossible star and his spouse Katie Holmes to welcome the Beckhams to Los Angeles at a star-studded party on Sunday (22Jul07), with celebrities like Eva Longoria, Jamie Foxx, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore among the invited guests. And Smith took the opportunity to pass on Cruise's love and life advice to the A-list crowd. He said, "Tom said to me the most important decision you'll ever make in your life is the groups you choose to be a part of. "He said that when you choose your wife you're choosing a life, and when you choose your friends you are choosing your life."
