Former eighties star KIM WILDE has advised troubled soul sensation AMY WINEHOUSE to put down the drugs and pick up the wine glass. The Kids In America singer, 46, who regularly courted controversy during her heyday, believes Winehouse just needs to step back from her party lifestyle. She says, "I would say lay off the drugs and have a drink. Maybe a nice glass of wine and enjoy that. A lot of boring people do drugs." Winehouse has cancelled a string of gigs in the U.S. and Europe after she was hospitalised last month (Aug07) following three days of hard-partying.
