WHITNEY HOUSTON GRANTED CUSTODY OF DAUGHTER

WHITNEY HOUSTON will gain custody of her teenage daughter BOBBI KRISTINA when her 14 year marriage to BOBBY BROWN ends this month (APR07), a judge has ruled. Judge FRANZ E MILLER yesterday (04APR07) ruled the couple's divorce will be finalised on 24 April. Houston wept when Miller made the announcement. Brown wasn't present at the hearing at Orange County Superior Court. The court had earlier heard Houston tell the judge how she did not need spousal or child support from Brown and that 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina could not rely on Brown as a parent. She said, "He's unreliable. If he says he's going to come, sometimes he does. Usually he doesn't." Brown's lawyer has vowed to appeal the decision.
