WHITE LIES CANCEL EUROPEAN CONCERTS

British rockers the WHITE LIES have cancelled four concerts in Europe after frontman HARRY MCVEIGH was taken ill during a gig in Munich, Germany.
The group was performing at the Munich Backstage venue on Monday night (09Nov09) when MCVeigh felt so sick he had to leave the stage after just four songs.
The musicians have now scrapped their remaining four dates in Austria, Italy and Switzerland scheduled for later this week (begs090Nov09).
In a statement on the White Lies website, the band writes, "We apologise to fans. Unfortunately we're having to postpone these dates due to illness. Those of you in Munich on Monday night will have witnessed the problem first hand. These things happen. In the last 12 months we've played over 200 shows around the world and this is the first time it's happened to us."
The concerts are to be rescheduled for February (10) and original tickets will still be valid for the new dates.
The band is planning to go ahead with its U.K. tour which starts in Bournemouth, England on 18 November (09).
