Hi, Deryck - Dilys here, your estranged aunt here, living in London, UK. Yes, I know all about searching for missing pieces of the puzzle, and there are many in our and my UK side of the family. I say go for it, search for your father, regardless of the outcome. Whatever happened in my Canadian side of the family is another story, and I was saddened not to have been invited to your wedding. I had to hear about it from colleagues at work, after the fact, and then see my, suposedly, dad (not sure about that these days)and Mary Whibley splashed in the mags while I was at the hairdressers.
