The 'Big Brother' housemates awoke this morning wondering what happened to Kenneth.

Despite being in the reality TV house only six days, playboy Kenneth had a huge - and divisive - impact on the house. He left in the early hours of this morning (23.07.09) citing his girlfriend, ex-housemate Karly as his reason.

Marcus - who Kenneth confided in last night (22.07.09) and who helped the outspoken housemate to escape - spoke to Big Brother in the Diary Room.

The uncharacteristically empathetic carpenter said: "He was brought in here to be reunited with someone, only to be split up again.

"I was in the room and I saw genuine emotion when he came in. I heard her talk about Kenneth and I heard him talk about her. Maybe not in such a nice way, but this place gives you time to reassess things and he did that and decided she was more important than 'Big Brother'.

"If I was in his shoes, I'd so the same."

When the rest of the housemates awoke and realised what had happened, most sympathised with Kenny. Bea, however, was still cynical about his leaving.

She said: "He kept saying he wouldn't be here in the morning .I don't think he wanted to be booed. He didn't make a good first impression."

Lisa was more sympathetic, she said: "I knew he was going to go, and you know what, I'm happy for him. If my girlfriend came in, then went out, I'd walk back out again. There's more to life."

Following Kenneth walking out of the show, tomorrow's (24.07.09) eviction has been cancelled.
