WESTWOOD RETURNS TO LONDON FASHION WEEK

Fashion icon VIVIENNE WESTWOOD is to return to the London catwalk - after almost a decade away. The eccentric British designer will show her Red Label women's wear collection for autumn and winter 2008 at London Fashion Week next February (08). Westwood - who last showed her collection at London Fashion Week in 1998 - says, "The sales of all our lines are increasing and we decided that Red Label, which is successful worldwide and so popular in the U.K., should have its own show." She follows in the steps of designers Matthew Williamson and Luella Bartley, who both returned to the event this September (07) after several years away.
