Kanye West has sparked fresh controversy over his fall-out with Taylor Swift following his stage invasion at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards - accusing the singer of using the incident to bolster her fame.
The pair hit the headlines after West stormed the stage at the VMAs to protest Swift's win, declaring her Best Female Video prize belonged to his friend Beyonce.
He was forced to apologise to the country sweetheart after facing a public backlash for his antics and he stepped away from the spotlight for several months to reflect on his actions.
West made his comeback earlier this year (10) and even channelled his sorrow about the moment in his song Runaway.
But the rapper has risked alienating fans again - at a surprise performance of his acclaimed new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in New York City on Tuesday night (23Nov10), West launched into yet another tirade aimed at the 20-year-old star.
During his rant, West appeared to suggest the Love Story singer capitalised on the incident to boost her career as he was being attacked in the press.
He raged, "Taylor never came to my defence at any interview. And rode the waves and rode it and rode it."
