WEST LONDON PRODUCES BEST OF BRITISH

A new survey has found an area of West London produces the most British talent - with rockers PETE TOWNSHEND, ROGER DALTREY and THE CLASH's MICK JONES all hailing from the borough.
The poll by the makers of videogame Guitar Hero found that Shepherd's Bush has produced more successful bands than anywhere else in the U.K.
The Who stars Townshend and Daltrey, as well as bassist John Entwistle, were all raised in the area, while Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash also grew up nearby.
Other stars to hail from Shepherd's Bush include Glen Matlock, Paul Cook and Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols.
