WEST AVOIDS FELONY CHARGE OVER AIRPORT FRACAS

KANYE WEST won't face felony charges for attacking a photographer and smashing his equipment at Los Angeles' LAX airport.
The rapper took offence to one snapper while checking in to board a flight bound for Hawaii on 11 September (08), and lashed out at him. As a result, West and his road manager Don Crowley were arrested and taken into police custody.
Both were released later the same day and now the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has decided not to file felony charges against the pair.
The Los Angeles City Attorney must now decide whether or not to file for a misdemeanour prosecution.
