WENTZ PLANS COMIC BOOK PROJECT

FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ is set to follow fellow 'emo' rocker GERARD WAY into the world of comic books after creating a new cartoon project for publisher Image Comics.
My Chemical Romance star Way's 2007 graphic novel series The Umbrella Parade has already become an award-winning hit at Dark Horse Comics - and now he's set for a little rock rivalry on comic book shelves.
Wentz is the brains behind upcoming mini-series Fall Out Toyworks, which will launch in September (09).
And the bassist has big plans for his new idea: "It’s more than a comic. In the end, it will be a graphic novel, clothing, website and (even) possible toys themselves."
MTV News reports the five-issue series will chronicle the adventures of a mysterious toymaker and a cyborg named Tiffy.
