WENTZ DENIES ASHER COLLABORATION

LATEST: FALL OUT BOY bassist PETE WENTZ has denied COBRA STARSHIP keytar player VICTORIA ASHER's claims his girlfriend ASHLEE SIMPSON and bandmate PATRICK STUMP have collaborated on a new internet song. Asher, daughter of rocker Peter Asher, told fans she had teamed up with Simpson and Stump on track Black And Light, which has been posted on her MySpace page. However Wentz, who co-owns Asher's record label Decaydence, insists there is no such collaboration. He tells MTV, "The story isn't true. Someone got a bit off-base in the communication. Ash didn't work on it and neither did Patrick. "I have no idea what the deal is, but they both told me they hadn't worked on it."
