WELSH SOPRANO KATHERINE JENKINS: I HAVE A STALKER

Classical singer Katherine Jenkins has revealed that the police are investigating a person who has been stalking her.

Though she did not reveal whether the stalker was a man or a woman, she confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

"I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say right now," she told the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

"It is worrying, but it is being dealt with at the moment."

The Welsh singer, who is dating former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, did not elaborate any further on her experience.

Jenkins has been with the ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant for a year but has rarely spoken publicly about their relationship.

"I'm so glad that I decided to draw the line at my personal life, because it is easy to use that to get publicity when you are starting out," she commented.

"I would absolutely, definitely, never sell my wedding pictures to a magazine.

"I'd like it to be a special day, not a photo shoot. And once you've done that, your marriage becomes everyone else's business."

She added: "No, we're not getting married but I know what I would want to do."

The mezzo-soprano last month admitted revealed she took class A drugs, including MDMA, cocaine and ecstasy during her university studies.

The former primary school teacher, 28, said taking drugs while at London's Royal College of Music is "the biggest regret of my life" and admitted she was "very nervous" about admitting her past.
