WELLER SPLITS FROM LONGTERM LOVE
Former THE JAM star PAUL WELLER has split from his longterm partner - reportedly leaving her for a 23-year-old backing singer.
The musician, 50, is said to have broken off his 13-year relationship with Samantha Stock amid rumours he is romancing Hannah Andrews.
Weller - who has two children with 38-year-old Stock - is reported to have moved out of the family home in Maida Vale, West London.
A spokesperson for the star confirmed the split, saying: "It's a very sad and unfortunate situation that their relationship has broken down."
Weller is now said to be involved with Andrews, who he met through his work - she sang backing vocals on his latest album, 22 Dreams, toured with his band, and is currently working on the former Style Council frontman's new LP.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Paul and Sam were as good as married but she's taken it well. Paul worked very closely with Hannah. They discovered they have a lot in common musically and personally, despite the age gap. They have lived together for around a month."
Weller was previously married to another backing singing, Dee C. Lee, who he has two children with. He also has another child from a short-term relationship.
