WELLER 'LENDING HAND TO KUNDALINI TARGET'
PAUL WELLER has been helping out his bandmember STEVE CRADOCK, as the guitarist prepares to release his first solo album.
Cradock - one of the original members of OCEAN COLOUR SCENE - has also been a mainstay of Weller's touring band.
He is planning to release his solo debut, THE KUNDALI TARGET, in February of next year, reports Uncut.
On the subject of the forthcoming album Weller said: "These are great songs of humanity, family values and family love. Its about being inspired by life and love."
Consisting of ten tracks, song titles included RUNNING WAY, BEWARE OF FALLING ROCKS and ASK THE SOUND.
Paul's son NATTY WELLER is soon to release his own album, which Cradock is currently producing.
Elsewhere, Weller was recently given an official warning after smoking onstage in while playing The Cliffs Pavilion in Southend.
The venue's owners have warned that artists appearing in future will face further action if they flout the ban.
