WEEZER FANS WOW SNUGGIE MAKERS WITH 'AVALANCHE OF REQUESTS'

WEEZER fans hoping to get their exclusive Snuggie before Christmas might be disappointed - an initial run on the lounge sack has sold out due to an "avalanche of requests".
The Weezer Snuggie went on sale earlier this month (Nov09) but thanks to a YouTube.com ad and other viral campaigns, the comfort item proved to be too popular.
Officials at leading Snuggie distributors Bravado have been forced to let many fans know that their purchase has been put on hold as they await more stock.
A source tells WENN, "We had an avalanche of requests and within a day we were wiped out. Several thousand Weezer's Snuggies were manufactured and they all went really quickly. We have a couple of hundred on order to meet the initial demand."
