WAYANS REFUSED STUNTWORK FOR G.I. JOE

Funnyman MARLON WAYANS was sidelined while his co-stars filmed death-defying scenes in upcoming war movie G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA - because he refused to perform his own stunts.
The actor/comedian - who plays action hero Ripcord in the new film - refused to follow the lead of his co-star Channing Tatum, who leaped into battle scenes featuring deadly explosions and high-speed chases.
Wayans admits he had no desire to risk his life for an adrenaline rush, and called on producers to keep stuntmen standing by.
He says, "Personally, I didn't want to do all of my stunts... I knew I could go, 'Stuntman! Could you bring him in for me?' (It was) too dangerous - hanging from a building and crashing (cars)."
