WAVY GRAVY BIOPIC IN THE WORKS

WOODSTOCK legend and peace activist WAVY GRAVY is set to become a big screen hero almost 40 years after he presented 'three days of peace and music' in upstate New York. The 70-year-old hippie icon, real name HUGH ROMNEY, is the focus of a new film tribute, SAINT MISBEHAVIN', which features stars like BONNIE RAITT, JACKSON BROWNE and PHIL LESH recalling their favourite memories of rock's clown prince. A sneak peek of the biopic about the former B-movie actor, who coined some of the most famous phrases at the Woodstock festival in 1969, featured as part of the Woodstock Film Festival last month (OCT06). Director MICHELLE ESRICK is currently seeking funding to complete the film.
