WATTS TO STAR IN CIA FILM

NAOMI WATTS will portray an outed Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer in a new film based on a true story about an alleged U.S. government leak.
Watts will star in Fair Game as Valerie Plame Wilson, the former officer who resigned in 2005 after becoming the subject of a federal investigation following allegations a White House official revealed her covert identity to reporters.
Sean Penn is reportedly in negotiations to play Watts' husband Ambassador James Wilson, who wrote a series of articles discrediting the administration of former U.S. President George W. Bush.
The film is the second Watts has lined-up in recent weeks; she will also join Penelope Cruz, Freida Pinto, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins in Woody Allen's latest, as-yet-untitled movie, which is scheduled to shoot in London this summer (09).
