EMMA WATSON is setting down her roots before starting university in America - the HARRY POTTER star has reportedly purchased her first London home.
The 19-year-old actress is preparing to begin her first term at a U.S. university later this year (09) - but not before establishing a base in her hometown.
Watson, who has earned an estimated $15.8 million (£10.5 million) from the hit franchise, is said to have paid $4.5 million (£3 million) for the property.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Despite the fame, she's really got her head screwed on. After consulting with several property experts, as well as her family and friends, she's decided to invest in her own place. It's a North London townhouse and it's just a stone's throw from her dad Chris' home."
