WATERS STILL BITTER ABOUT GILMOUR RIFT

Former PINK FLOYD star ROGER WATERS is still fuming about comments ex-band mate DAVE GILMOUR made after their one-off reunion at the Live8 concert in 2005. The pair put aside their long term feud for a spectacular comeback alongside RICK WRIGHT and NICK MASON at the charity event and appeared to have patched up their long term differences. But Waters claims Gilmour wrecked any future reunion, by suggesting the band didn't need him. The 63-year-old singer song-writer says, "He came up with some very strange comments after Live8. "One was, 'I don't know what the big fuss is about - it would have been just the same if Roger had been there or not'. That illustrated to me that maybe he doesn't quite get how important that symbiosis between the four of us was during the golden years of that band. "For 20 years it has been Dave's baby. He doesn't want to give up that position."
