WATERS RECORDS FILM TUNE WITH OSCAR-WINNING COMPOSER SHORE
PINK FLOYD rocker ROGER WATERS has recorded his second movie tune with acclaimed film composer HOWARD SHORE.
The odd couple collaborated on HELLO (I LOVE YOU) for upcoming sci-fi film THE LAST MIMZY.
Waters says, "I think together we've come up with a song that captures the themes of the movie - the clash between humanity's best and worst instincts, and how a child's innocence can win the day."
The six-minute song features ERIC CLAPTON's drummer STEVE GADD, DAVID BOWIE's guitarist GERRY LEONARD and six-year-old actress RHIANNON LEIGH WRYN, who stars in the film and duets with Waters.
The film is based on LEWIS PADGETT's acclaimed sci-fi short story, which tells the story of two children who discover a mysterious box containing toy-like objects.
The new movie features TIMOTHY HUTTON, and JOELY RICHARDSON.
