WASHINGTON: 'I'M TOO OLD TO PLAY OBAMA'

DENZEL WASHINGTON has given up hope he will ever play U.S. President BARACK OBAMA on the big screen - because he will be "too old" for the role.
The 54-year-old Oscar winner is desperate to play Obama, 47, in a film but fears it will be many years before the president's life is made into a movie. And the star concedes that a younger actor will be more suitable when a biopic is eventually produced.
And Washington knows he couldn't portray Obama at the present time because the U.S. leader just too busy to help him make the role convincing.
He says, "When Obama's story is ready to be told I'll be too old to do it.
"And if it were made now, he has too much to do to have me asking for tips on how to play him."
