Soul legend DIONNE WARWICK is delighted WHITNEY HOUSTON is recording a new album, and she's confident the star is heading for a career revival.
Houston has found herself thrust into the spotlight in the last few days as a result of several controversial allegations about her alleged drug use in her ex-husband Bobby Brown's forthcoming autobiography Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth And Nothing But..., and Warwick sympathises with her niece.
The Walk On By singer, 67, tells People.com, "Whitney Houston is back! I'm thrilled that she's in the studio and working on her new album.
"No doubt she's overcoming everything that has been put in front of her even this week."
