British actress JULIE WALTERS always steers clear of Hollywood parties because she has no interest in playing the glamorous celebrity role. The 57-year-old - who even snubbed the recent (MAR07) launch party for her new movie BECOMING JANE because she was tired - has never aspired to the lifestyle of a typical movie star, branding it too superficial. She says, "I'm not into the celebrity side of things. It's all hot air really; it's not about anything real. If you believe in it, live in it, it destroys people's lives and gives them a false perspective of who they are. "I don't think I ever really believed in it."
