WALTERS IS 'DRIVEN BY FEAR'
JULIE WALTERS has been pushed to success in the movie business - because she is so terrified of failure.
The British actress, 58, has enjoyed a long and successful film career, picking up two Oscar nominations and a clutch of other awards, including a Golden Globe for her role in 1983's Educating Rita.
And Walters is continuing to ride high in the entertainment industry with a prominent role in the Harry Potter franchise and a recent turn in box office smash Mamma Mia!
But the star is convinced that her continued success is down to her constant worrying.
She says, "I think people are driven by various things and my life is driven by fear - it always has been. I was brought up in an anxious household and I think acting is based on fear."
But Walters has found a way to disperse her negatives thoughts - a self-help book by Susan Jeffers titled Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway.
She adds, "Reading this book was a revelation. I'm not scared any more."
