WALSH: COYLE'S COURTING COULD SPLIT GIRLS ALOUD

Pop guru LOUIS WALSH believes that GIRLS ALOUD may split after they have produced their next album.

The 54-year-old former manager of the girl group believes they have found it tough since member NADINE COYLE moved to Los Angeles to be with current beau JESSE METCALFE, of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES fame.

However, in an interview with New magazine, he insisted that Coyle's move has not brought about a breakdown in relationships within the band.

"They're getting on better than ever. They're getting on with it," he said, adding that they will "definitely release another album and they're going on tour".

Initially under the stewardship of Walsh, GIRLS ALOUD have enjoyed huge success since being created on the ITV show POPSTARS: THE RIVALS in 2002.

Notching up a remarkable 15 consecutive top ten singles, the feisty five have enjoyed hits with Sound of the Underground, I'll Stand By You and, most recently, a number one with their 2007 Comic Relief single Walk This Way, alongside the SUGABABES.
