WALLIAMS' STALKER ADMITS HARASSMENT
LATEST: A woman accused of stalking British comedian DAVID WALLIAMS has admitted to harassing the LITTLE BRITAIN star.
Highbury Corner Magistrates Court in London heard on Tuesday (29Apr08) that Sarah Bartholomew, 29, had bombarded Walliams with erotic poems, photographed him secretly in his house and had showered him with gifts since 2004.
In upcoming book Inside Little Britain - co-written by Walliams and his comic partner Matt Lucas - Walliams described how she sent him a 12-page poem "written in various different colours of ink over a period of weeks", and referred to her devotion as "a bit scary". The former veterinary nurse was ordered by Walliams' lawyers four times not to contact him before the case went to court.
However, Bartholomew will not face a jail term for the offence.
District Judge Ian Baker said in court, "This is a serious offence but you are certainly not going to go to prison - I can assure you of that."
Bartholomew is due to be sentenced on Friday (02May08).
