WALLIAMS' CHILDREN'S BOOKS TO BE MADE INTO MOVIES
British funnyman DAVID WALLIAMS is in talks with Hollywood bosses to turn his children's books into movies.
The comic released his debut, The Boy In The Dress, last year (08), about a cross-dressing school boy, which received a slew of positive reviews and was nominated for the coveted Roald Dahl prize, which honours the funniest books for kids.
He published his second, Mr Stink, earlier this year (09) under a two-year deal with Harper Collins.
And now Walliams is holding discussions with a number of film houses, including Disney, to take the stories to the big screen, according to British newspaper The Sun.
