WAINWRIGHT: 'DRUGS IN MUSIC IS NORMAL'

Canadian singer MARTHA WAINWRIGHT has defended the use of drugs in the music industry, insisting it is normal for musicians to experiment with illegal substances.
The star, sister of singer Rufus Wainwright, admits she has dabbled with drugs in the past, and credits them with "expanding" her mind.
She says, "I had a great experience with narcotics.
"They have expanded my mind, maybe not as much as they have ruined it, but I think it's a part of life and being young and in the music and art scene. There are a lot worse things that people can do."
