WAHLBERG: 'I BECAME A MAN IN 2003'

MARK WAHLBERG has admitted he only "became a man" when he his daughter was born in 2003. The 35-year-old PLANET OF THE APES star concedes the arrival of three-year-old ELLA four years ago (03) with girlfriend RHEA DURHAM transformed his life, and made him comfortable exposing a softer side to his personality. He says, "From the age of 15 on, I've thought I was a man but I didn't really become a man until I had my little girl, which was the key ingredient to helping me become a well-rounded person. "I don't have a problem with showing a sensitive side. I like to see guys kick ass when necessary and I'm still a guy's guy, but when I had my little girl that kind of changed everything."
