VON TEESE STUNNED AT EUROVISION RESULT
MARILYN MANSON's ex-wife DITA VON TEESE was left fuming at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night (16May09) when her star turn in the competition failed to impress viewers.
The burlesque beauty, who performed with Germany's Alex Swings Oscar Sings, had hoped to take gold but the act finished in a lowly 20th place out of the 25 countries participating in the competition.
Norway's Alexander Rybak took the Eurovision crown with a record 387 points, followed by Iceland and Azerbaijan in second and third places respectively. Turkey and the U.K. rounded out the top five.
And the results left Von Teese shocked. She writes on her Twitter page, "Stunned&amazed that the best performances were nowhere near the top rankings! Denmark, Ukraine, Estonia? All great shows and songs. Shocking!"
Estonia's entry just missed out on a top five placing, coming in sixth, while Ukraine was placed 12th and Denmark was voted 13th.
But Von Teese soon got over her disappointment - she jetted off to the Cannes Film Festival in France shortly after the contest ended.
She adds, "Off to Cannes for the film festival! I'm doing a show at vip room monday night, & then it's a bit of a holiday for the most part. I'm ready!"

were so great-that you'd win!you're so stuckup-and you absolutely have no
reason to be!you suck-in more ways than one!!!this only prooves what i've been
saying all along:if you can't steal from the dead-you're nothing!!!!!you always
forget:if it wasn't for bettie page,betty grable,and the other famous dead
actresses-you wouldn't be a celebrity!!!by the way-did you even go to bettie
pages funeral when she died?proboably not.you're so ignorant!!!you should've
